Pieces of Puhoi on sale

Sunday 26 June, Puhoi 148th anniversary commemoration day, saw the start of a new church fundraiser, the sale of authentic 'pieces of Puhoi'.

Using kauri offcuts from weatherboard replacements, Dave Brentnall was asked to craft crosses and some crucifixes of several sizes, from small lapel crosses to ones to mount on your wall, or stand on your mantelpiece, as well as mirror frames and teapot stands.

Prices range from a $5 lapel cross to a plain 420mm high wall cross for $50, or $65 with the figure of Christ.
