Multi-award winning Ascension Wine Estate is one of New Zealand’s leading destinations for fine wine and cuisine, entertainment and stylish private events.

 

The NZ owned and operated wine business founded by Darryl & Bridget Soljan, Ascension Wine Estate has a cellar door / tasting room that is open for wine tasting, wine sales, gift boxes and merchandise. An award winning Bistro - The Oak Grill - that can seat up to 170 people. Available for a-la-carte dining everyday for lunch (closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays in winter), as well as private functions. The Bistro overlooks our potager garden on one side and the stunning vines on the other side. The Belfry function centre - available for weddings, conferences, private dinners, gala functions, school balls, Christmas parties, concerts and events. Maximum capacity with dance-floor and stage is 200 people banquet style, 300 people theatre style.
