Puhoi Community ForumWhat is the Puhoi Community Forum (PCF)?
The PCF is an organisation that was set up 5 years ago (as of October 2006) by community volunteers to bring together already existing community groups plus up to six elected local independent representatives The objectives of the PCF are to provide one voice, and a united front in matters and negotiations with our local district council (RDC), utility companies and other government organisations agencies and companies including prospective developers. The role of the PCF is therefore to foster & support local initiatives that are seen to benefit the Puhoi community as a whole.
The PCF meets on the first Monday of every month (except January) 7:30PM at the Puhoi Sports Club. The best way to support the work of the Puhoi Community Forum is to become a member. Membership is set this year at $10.00 per family and is open to all families living in the Puhoi catchment area.
